Making friends with electricity

The best way to show people you mean business is to take 10k volts and attach it to something they might touch. Then while they are recovering from the pain go hide in a different state till they decide not to press charges.

Dude I hate being that guy, but that was fake as hell. last time I checked aluminum wasn't too good of a conductor of electricity plus awfully conveniant he fell thru that box

^hey nut, i'm a radio techinician, aluminium is what we use on our power line cables in australia, and i'm sure you also use it in what ever country you live in, but this would be fake in australia, for starters the RCD would trip, and if you didn't have RCD, then the circuit breaker would trip, but seriously do your home work about aluminium, just because something isn't magnetic, doesn't mean it doesn't conduct electricity, and if you are american, then you fucking discoverd the shit and should know better, enough said

^^^^ that and it wasnt 10k volts, its only 120, 10k comes from the line side of of tye transformer to your house. he'd be dead and that building would be cinders, the states and here in canada use copper for house wiring, and aluminum for triplex service feeds.

im an electrician too, haha, and americans dont use aluminum because its not economical to use it compared to the abundance and efficiency of copper, and aluminum had a weaker break point. you see, im the last american that does my homework for fun, thats why your all jeleous that i can wake up one morning and start speaking 20 different languages. now im going to have seconds on my hamburger helper 3 cheesy shells.

I may very well be a faggit, but you will never put me in my place, aluminium fuck knuckles is used on the main lines, not in your house, we too have copper wiring in the walls, this is the exact reason you are dickheads, and I am earning millions of dollars every week just by breathing, mrragoo you should know better than to pretend to be smart, you just are one fucked up internet nerd with a little power

  • joecommonsense December 27, 2008

yeah aluminum is used on American Mainlines in the 50,000 volt to 100,000 and above range because it is lighter being that the size of a single wire carrying 100,000 volts is bigger than the size of a doorknob and carries it more efficiently than copper, but majority of lines in residential 30,000 volt and below is copper which is probably 60 percent. and yeah americans are dickheads, but not me cause i speak 20 differnet languages and when you have the common sense to speak 20 different languages you see how americans have become real dickheads.

How do you figure that aluminum is a more efficient conductor of electricity when the ohms per foot resistance is much higher in an aluminum conductor of the same size?? Aluminum is used because it is CHEAP.

  • dogbreathisgay December 28, 2008

^you still don't get it do you, aluminium is used for power cables because, get ready for it now, because it is LIGHT, and get a load of this, are you ready, it is also cheap which is just a coincidence, bauxite deposits are coming out of our arse here in north queensland, infact so is copper, but it is too heavy you uneducated spastics.

now that we all understand Austrialia shits aluminum, lets all understand that the US shits copper.

  • pantherkarl43 December 29, 2008

accually during world war two when copper was in large demand for the military there were many a home wired in aluminum at least in arizona because there was no copper available, and to understand "why aluminum?" go look at the conductivity chart. aluminum is almost the most conductive metal out there(yes even better than gold)the problem is it has a melting point of under 200 degress so if you have a short you're toast...This concludes your physics class for today lil kiddren...

Seems too much like a setup...Someone has seen these types of videos and tried to make their own video...the breaker would trip as soon as the second wire touched the knob and closed the circuit!!! Also the burn mark would also only be a small spot where he completed the circuit unless the knob was heated to scalding hot temperatures!!! BULLSHIT ALERT!!!!

  • austintatious December 29, 2008

    FAKE

I shocked myself a lot on 110v outlets and there is no sparking or burning. Same for 220's casue there is only 110v per hot side.

The worst 'special effects' I've ever seen, and a knob that leaves a burn from a door handle? An insult to one's intelligence, get it off!
