Hey Henry; I have fired thousands of 5.56 and .308 through an m-16 and a m-60 machine gun, and I love them both - but, if I want to reach out I go to my Barrett m82, .50 cal, with 4.5-14x50mm optics. It’s old, but so am I, and we can still take out a heavy target at 1000 meters.
