thats caused by a large hematoma on the head that is not treated. basicly the skin died and a large bloodclot underneath was to blame. this is not half as gross as when the hematoma rotted and fell out. the maggots are actuially benificial to the guy. maggots will not eat living fleash only rotted flesh and puss. the bad part is you hafta clean the wound thouroughly every 12 hours or it will make it worse. the dudes gonna recover fine if dr suess their knows anything about wound dressing.
