Hello sole meet ankle... A FuckedinFresno story

This is my(FuckedinFresno) right ankle. Monday I was running with some buddies when I lost the right footpeg off my Suzuki GSX-R 1100. At just under 100 mph my toe hit the roadway, tore the front off my boot and folded my foot back to the point my sole was against my calf. It took 6 hours of surgery, cadaver tendon and almost 40 staples to put it back together. Oh yeah, and I had to ride most of the way to the hospital. A cop stopped me when he pulled up next to me and saw me bleeding. It's not the grossest thing I've seen here but hey, this is my own leg now.''

Prolly would have been worse on a harley. The guy behind me pulls up and yells at me "Dude, you should have just seen your foot". I yell back "Dude, go back and get it for me". I honestly thought it was gone. The bitch is being almost 50 and healing as slow as I do. It'll be summer before i can ride again.

I coulda got more bike for less money but, I opted for a harley. With all the vibration things are bound to come loose. Check your nuts and bolts often and use locktite on them. Glad you didn't go down.

Never fell off the bike but I slowed down really fast. Haven't seen it since this happened either, it's over at a friends house, she had to ride it home once the meat wagon came and got me. Suzuki dealership had the boot on the wall, had I not been wearing one I'd be getting fitted for a peg about now.

Ye sorry to hear of your demise with the peg coming off, I bought my misses a 125cc suzuki marauder to learn on & checked all nuts n bolts before it goes out on the road & i couldnt believe how many bolts i had to tighten up, the chain was floppy, suspension was set on the softest setting, incorrect tire presures, the guy i bought it from was riding around without a clue.

    The bikes mint now though.
