Its more likely to be automatic transmission fluid that floated to the surface. The dumbass probably burned up the transmission trying to reverse out of the ice

Through rain, sleet, hail, or snow, a broad will always find a way to fuck a car up.

this happens in MN all the time. afrozen lake is deceiving, you never know where the springs and sand bars are, hence the thin ice!

Holy shit. Dont show this pic to my insurance adjuster. I could have sweared they would never find my expedition when i threw it in the river. I mean when they stole it from my drive way.

This is funny, and it happens here as well in Wisconsin. However most people get them out right away, with a wrecker and dive team to hook it up. Cost is around 7-10,000 but I agree with the FuK it idea. My question is. what is with the Blood by the front wheel??? is it blood?

How would the ATF leak outstide the transmission? When u "burn up" a transmission thats all internal...gears and all that shit. They would have had to blow a line(not talking about yay lol) for it to get outside the tranny(not talking about hitmankid)

Many transmissions have small air vents at the top to alleviate pressure built up by heat. Water seeps in, oil floats on water and then to the surface. Water doesnt lube like oil so the trans burns up from internal friction. Not too difficult to comprehend. 4x4 transfer cases and rear differentials have the same feature built in.

I love my F-150, but after ebunny's comment, it looks like they're diversifying.
