Whales do give live birth, ya know.

  • deianeira June 9, 2006

actually that's a very common practice. You can rent those pools and they are very sanitary, it's rather costly. You don't see it, but onhand will be a nursemaid. Many people still chose to give birth at home. The birth in water can often we less stressful on the body. I would never do it, but if you've got the money and the desire, go for it.

Doctors across America have declared this to be the safest way to give birth to a child. And I can understand how sick unbalanced minds see that picture as gross. How did trailer parks get involved anyway? Oh ya, these are the "retards"

Babies for what ever reason have an instinct to hold their breath in water. They have this instinct for a number of years. If you immerse them in water they automatically stop breathing. It has to do with their time spent in the womb not breathing. Strange but true.

giving birth in water is less stressful for baby as it is a more gradual introduction to the world plus water helps labour pains....and how the fuck did this constitute trailer trash???

Only those who abuse crack, meth or looking for brain cells call it trailer park trash. People hate facts. Who knows, maybe its because their mom's came from rehab!

  • dalangvads June 9, 2006

Very common practice, less stressful on baby and mother. As has been said.

However, shes doing it herself, now thats something!

Uhhhmmmmm, You are almost right about your post. But allow me to correct you. You are correct that a baby instinctively holds it's breath when it goes under water. (Actually, they will start to hold their breath when submerged up to their chin) But there is no known reason why they hold their breath. A baby doesn't hold it's breath for 9 months in the womb. It is strange, however, not true. A baby's nose has a Mucos (Phlegm) plugg up there, and the baby survives and breathes on amniotic fluid. The amniotic fluid will help develope the lungs for the baby to breathe when they are born. Your 1st part is true about the instinct, but your 2nd part is just stupidity....Allow me to be the 1st to tell you......OWN3D J/K good try though.

  • iamgod June 9, 2006

To answer Titans Question though. The baby is pulled from the water within seconds of being fully out of the vagina. They are then suctioned in the nose to remove the mucos plug, and then in the mouth to remove any amniotic fluid that might still be in there. That is why it takes a good 15 seconds to hear a baby cry. I have 2 kids, I saw both born. (Lost my wife on the second one, god rest your beautiful soul, you did good babe. I look forward to seeing you again one day.) I hope that answers your question.

  • tweek312 June 9, 2006

Typically this is done with some assistance however if the mother is conscious enough to pull the baby up and out of the water quickly there is no harm. The baby will likeley take in some water but not nearly enough to constitute drowning. There are a lot of obvious benefits to this method of birth however I have never heard of someone doing it in their backyard pool with a plastic tarp as a liner. I would be willing to bet that mothers who have their children like this dont even need moriphine to ease the pain. I believe women when they say its painfull... how can it not be? For guys... imagine passing a football through your ass, or ramming a baseball bat up your cock... I bet thats about the level of pain these ladies go through. Anyone know where I can get some Moriphine?... .. Yummmy... tastes... so.. good... aawawalwllawlllllllll

I don't post in the pics often, for obvious reason. I just wanted to let you all know I have a good friend who is on child number 6 right now, the last 3 were in underwater births, at home, in a brand new house they just built, in a special kiddy type tub. Of course they had to steralize the tub. They also had a midwife there. If you look closely you can see blood, it's just diluted in the water. I've had two children and wanted to have them this way, however it wasn't my choice to get cut hip to hip both times. Still worth it no matter how you get them in your arms the first time!

Half French? What the fuck? It's like me saying you Americans are half Mexican... need I say more? Read a book dipshit. And to the cumrag who thinks he's God... baby's do not breathe for sustinance in the womb. All of their nutrients and oxygen are fed to them through the umbilical cord. The "breathing" they do while in the womb is to help condition their lungs and train the muscles involved in that process. A mucous plug is a thin layer of mucous that forms over the mothers cervix to prevent infections and bacteria from entering the cervix and possibly harming the baby. The reason they sometimes use suction on a newborn is to induce the breathing process instead of slapping them like in the old days. So let me be the first to tell you... OWN3D J/K. And if the story about your wife is true, I'm sorry for your loss.

If you look there is blood, check between her legs the cloud of blood in the first picture. After birth can take up to 45 mins for your body to expell. Good chance that is still in mom!

This is a very safe and natural way to have a baby they say, they also say it hurts less and the mom os more comfortable. In one of the comments I read something about a crack head doing this, well I guarantee a crack head could not afford to do this. This is a very expensive to do. it is usually done in a kids swimming pool with plastic covering it. I have witnessed a water birth and although i would never do it is is safe and not a crack head or trailer trash thing to do, actually the richer do it normally as some insurance companies will not pay for this and surly not medicade, which is something most crack heads are on.

Maybe it differes depending on where you live but I've never heard of a waterbirth being that expensive. When I was pregnant, before we found out I was having twins, I planned to deliver out of hospital, with a midwife, and have a water birth. It was covered 100% by my insurance. Now, we were planning a birth center birth so, I suppose a home birth might be different.

Yes this is legal. The baby doesn't breathe until it's out of the water anyway, just by instinct. They usually sterilize the pool and fill it with sterile water.
