Chili Cook Off

this is the best recipe you will ever find for venison chili. 1 pound ground venison 1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup olive oil 2 cups chopped onions 1 cup chopped green peppers 1/4 cup sliced celery 4 cloves garlic minced 4 medium jalapeno peppers de-seeded and chopped 1/3 cup chili powder 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp white pepper 1/2 tsp salt 2 14 oz cans of chopped tomatoes 3 cups of beef broth 2-3 cups of light red beans drained and rinsed heat olive oil in large dutch oven.brown venison and hamburger in the oil . put the finished meat in a bowl ,but leave all the dripings from the meat in the dutch oven. cook the onions,greenpeppers, celery, garlic,and jalapenos in themeat juices until the onions are soft. now add chili powder,cayenne pepper,cumin,white pepper and salt. cook for 5 minutes onlow heat stiring constantly, then add tomatoes and beefbroth and meat to that. mix it all and let simmer for uncovered for 1 1/2 hours stiring occasionaly. then add the drained and rinsed beans and let simmer 15 more minutes. then its eating time!! best damn chili ever!!! be sure to follow exactly the directions and only add or subtract on the green peppers or jalapenos. everything else has to stay the same!! i have never been able to find anyones chili that was better . even at chili cook offs and resturants.
