The Wall

on 06.15.2012

Tonight is looking to be a good one, since I'm going to see Roger Waters perform The Wall. I saw it last year and it was probably the best concert I've ever been to, and I heard this year it's even better. I guess he just spends all his time refining the show and tweaking things and what not. It sure would be nice if they were handing out shrooms at the door, but I won't count on it. --Adam

Yea, I’m pretty sure it’s that very one marco! This album is the ole’ proverbial nail in the coffin for the split of the band. I got to see them once before the split on the "Dark Side" tour and saw them on the "Division Bell" tour afterwards. If I’m not mistaken they got together only once since they split. That was for a 3 song set a few years back for a AID’s concert in London. I would have given anything to have been there! I had a couple of good friends that were lucky enough! I’m am a Gilmore man myself. I guess we all have to choose a side when talking of Floyd. Even though Sid put them on the track that WAS Floyd. May he rest in peace. Too bad greatness seems to splinter so easily! Just like the Allman’s. But I have to go D. Betts in that one! Adam I saw Waters in Europe a couple times last year. I didn’t know he did the States. This isn’t a insult in anyway but have you ever seen a show with so many 1000s enjoy a show so much with virtually no one moving a single muscle? It’s like everyone is in a awe struck trance!

Thanks Marco! I really would like to meet my first ever CS contact. One of my best friends moved back there 10 years or so ago and offered me a job in Manchester but I went another direction. I loved the dudes name, Q. Hartley! Lol, I’m jealous! The arts(music etc.) is so awesome in London. Did you see the Queen go down the Thames a couple of weeks ago? I watched it on tv. Stay in touch! By the way I am Tony 68’! Peace all!

I was lucky enough to go for free as my friend’s designated driver when the show was in Los Angeles in May. Sound and vision to boggle the mind. How can you top that?
