Citizen's Arrest

on 08.26.2015

Is Citizen's Arrest still a thing? I feel like you use those two words together when speaking to me, and I have to beat your ass on pure principal. You might be out of touch with reality if you are trying to arrest someone. What if you say citizen's arrest and then beat the shit out of someone? Can you blame it on the police, since you were acting as a police citizen. --Jay D.

Are you saying if somebody uses the words citizens arrest with you they’ll end up with a cardiac arrest?

Yes citizens arrest is "still a thing". But don't worry, you can't be arrested for merely being stupid or writing stupid blogs.

"Citizens arrest! Citizens arrest!" You other old guys here will think of gomer on the andy griffith show just like I did...who knew old gomer really wanted to be the prison bitch all along?

That’s something you say usually *after* you just beat somebody’s ass. Because if you say it before you beat their ass, you’re just askin to get your own ass beat.

Is Citizen’s Arrest still a thing? Yea. Why do you think there are thousands of unenforced laws on the books? They never go away.
