What happen to Detroit there was a time not long ago when you could buy a car,say a 1968 impala ss like the one I've still got!!!! For 3200$$$ that's thirty two hundred!!!!! Not 50,000 for a hunk o shit that will be recalled because it will kill you!!!! Or with in a couple years the paint is peeling and the car value book value drops to junk price!!!! Don't even get me started on newer car parts the fucking crooks!!!!!!

@maddog123 as long as our wages have followed suit, the actual dollar value of goods is irrelevant.
It wasn't like everybody was walking around in 1968 saying "isn't this great, the cars are only $3,200.
