Mine was a 69 Chevy Malibu. Purple with a black vinyl top. The image here is not the one I had, but remarkably close in appearance.
Had a 307ci engine and auto transmission.
The car had steel studded snow tires and air shocks in the rear. It was a fun first car until I blew a head gasket. Was gonna fix it until some dude who was wanting to hump my mom scooped snow from our driveway with a dozer and pushed my car back in the driveway by pressing the bucket onto the trunk. He fucked the rear of that car up, so I picked up an old Pontiac Ventura ex taxi car. The Pontiac had a very similar look to the Malibu, but had an inline six. The valve cover leaked like hell as someone broke off one of the bolt heads. I clamped on a very small pair of vise grips and drove it like that for a couple of years anyway.
And, although I've titled this "My first car", I found an image which is very close to the Pontiac I had and am including it:
Had a 1975 Nova, thing caught on fire every time I started it and couldn't turn a tire on ice... Still driving pieces of shit to this day
I watched a dude once drive a nova just like the one in the picture here across the scales collect his 35$ scrap money for the car walk across the street and buy booze with it? Fucking nova was mint! And he was pickled!!!
First car was a 1979 Olds Delta 88 Holiday Special... The only 88 to have factory buckets with the automatic on the floor. It had a factory 350 Rocket, balanced and blueprinted with a Predator 750 sitting on top. First truck was a 1969 Chevy C-10... 327 with a "3 on the tree" manual and a long-bed steep-sided.
