The impact of his head on the door frame was reportedly felt by the crewmen throughout the whole aircraft.

"You don't need a parachute to skydive. You need a parachute to skydive twice."

@ketamine<3 Except his chute got stuck on the tail and right rear wing. The plan is towing him through the shy like a cheap banner. Now the landing was a little messy. Just kidding RIP soldier.

@burfurger not sure if they do this anymore but they used to hook up to a line and it would pull it for you as you jumped. out the back though not the side of a plane.

That’s Not a male , the hands are too small the frame is too small . And the hair is female acceptable standard for basic training That they are on. Males have a buzzed or number 2 length fade per the military BTC read. Rip lady warrior :(

Looks to me like they might have been the Jumpmaster, or in Jumpmaster training. Part of their job is to "Clear the door" & Clear the rear" During this they are literally hanging outside the aircraft through the open door. Their main chute is strapped to their back and attached to a static line that is linked to a cable inside the aircraft. Their reserve chute is strapped to their chest and is actuated by a pull pin and deploys suing a spring in order to keep the jumper from getting tangled in the risers. You can see the reserve deploy right before they get slammed in to the doorway. At the end of the video you can see their static line for the main chute running under their right arm still attached to the cable in the plane. Training for war can be just as dangerous as the real thing. RIP
