Shoots 5.56mm rounds and can shoot750 rounds per minute(actually can shoot around 1000 per minute but that heats the barrel up and can warp it when it cools). Even at 750 rpm the gunner still has to carry 2 barrels to swap out in case it still happens. The cool shit about this gun is it can shoot the standard 200round belts from a porkchop drum and can take an unmodified 30round m16 clip. The m240 shoots 7.62x54mm rounds(definately not a 7.62 belt around those tittays)
