► A MESSAGE TO THE COMMUNITY

A year ago this month, Crazy Shit was up for sale and my partner and I jumped on it the second it was available. Not because of the money, not to pad a portfolio of websites, not to push products. It was a no-think decision because of the users on this site.

I've personally been involved with websites that featured all kinds of content for almost 20 years, but never have I seen the kind of diversity and authenticity of the users like I have on CS. It's because of you guys that I look forward to putting in the extra time and effort every day.

When we took over from Jay, a promise was made to keep the site's integrity in tact as best we could while still trying to make it reach more users. You may have noticed over the past few months, more and more custom hand-edited (eFukt-style things you can find in the CS PRODUCTIONS section) videos have been going on the site. It's practically a daily thing now, sometimes multiple videos in a single update. This takes the kind of effort and time 99% of other sites refuse to do, but if there's any community out there that deserves it, it's the people on here.

In other words: Thank you. Even the people that left, or have issues with the way we do things. Thank you all for being your own person. Thank you for being opinionated. And thank you for choosing this site to express it every day. The world is in desperate need of independent thinkers, and while controversial, I think we have some of the greatest ones here.
